What is the difference between Sociability Places and All Places?
Sociability provides detailed accessibility information for hospitality and retail venues.
In particular, Sociability provides verified accessibility information for certain locations across the UK – such as London, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Edinburgh and other larger cities.
These are visible on the Sociability app in our map under the Sociability Places heading. These are Sociability Verified places and appear as orange dots and pins with a blue border.
Sociability also allows users to share information about the accessibility of places they have visited – uploading photos, sharing experiences and reporting real-time alerts when things break.
These are also visible in the Sociability app in our map view under the Sociability Places heading. These are Community Contributed places and appear as orange dots and pins with a green border.
Finally, you can also find places for which we do not have any information.
These are visible in the Sociability app in our map view under the All Places heading. These are sourced from Google Maps directly and appear as dark pins on the map.
If we do not have any information for a place, we’d love for you to be the first to contribute it!
