Last Updated: 26 January 2024

Introduction

At Sociability, we are fully committed to the principles of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the eradication of modern slavery and human trafficking in all forms. This statement outlines our position and efforts to prevent these issues within our organization and throughout our business relationships.

About Sociability

Sociability is a technology company based in London, UK, focused on helping individuals with disabilities discover accessible places and enjoy peace of mind. Our team consists of approximately 20 staff.

Our clients, partners and suppliers

We work with a diverse range of clients and partners across multiple sectors, including engineering, architecture, property development, hospitality, and government councils. While our supply chain involvement is limited, we remain committed to working exclusively with organisations that share our values and uphold high ethical standards. We also remain vigilant to risks related to modern slavery and human trafficking within our business relationships

Ongoing policies and practices
  • Recruitment: Our recruitment procedures ensure that all prospective employees have the legal right to work in the UK.

  • Ethical Partnerships: We collaborate with organisations that share our values and refrain from doing business with any entity, in the UK or abroad, involved in slavery, servitude, forced labor, or similar practices.

  • Whistleblowing Policy: We maintain a whistleblowing policy that enables employees and stakeholders to confidentially report concerns and wrongdoings. This policy, along with our code of conduct and other company policies, is accessible to all staff through our company intranet.

  • Training and Awareness: We educate our staff about the risks associated with modern slavery and human trafficking and provide guidance on the appropriate procedures to follow in case of suspected wrongdoing, whether within our organisation or in association with other businesses.

Ongoing commitment

We will regularly review and update our policies and practices to stay aligned with international best practices and legal requirements.
