What to expect on a Sociability Community Day
Meet at the chosen time and location.
Get set up with the Sociability app on your phone.
Then it's time to get social and dive into some fun activities with the team.
There will be time to relax and chat before wrapping up around 4pm, but you're welcome to join us for as long as you like!

We don't just test our own tools. We connect our community with external partners to ensure the world is built with Disabled people in mind, read more about Sociability Inclusive User Testing.
User Interviews
Share your experiences with our product and research team through 30 to 45 minute video calls. Your insights help us understand how you use the app and what improvements would make the biggest difference to you.
Usability Testing
Experience new features before their official launch and share your feedback on their effectiveness. Testing sessions take 30 to 45 minutes and can be done remotely from any location with internet access.
Product Feedback
Quick surveys help us identify what's effective and where improvements are needed. Most take less than 5 minutes and focus on feature priorities, user experience, and accessibility needs.
What is a Sociability Community Day?
Our community days are a chance to meet likeminded people in the Disabled community and discover accessible places. They are intended to be fun, social and to raise awareness of accessibility. After meeting and introducing ourselves, there is an activity and then time to socialise and have refreshments.
What does the community day activity involve?
We divide into teams and have a scavenger-hunt, bingo-card style game. The tasks involve finding accessible places nearby and sharing Sociability with people and venues. There are different tasks to suit different levels of confidence.
Is the community day activity tiring?
The activity is slow-paced and with rest breaks. We stay within a 1 mile area, on city terrain. Many attendees use mobility aids, and the activity is suitable for this. Attendees do not have to participate in the activity.
Can I bring a support worker, friend, or family member to a community day?
Yes. Let us know at registration and we'll add them to the group.
How many people usually come along to a community day?
This depends on the location. Usually 20 to 30 people attend.
Can I let you know about access needs before the community day?
Yes. We ask about access needs at registration.
