Hi there!

Welcome to the first edition of Beyond Compliance. We’re glad you’re here and are excited to start sharing ideas and strategising together.

This newsletter is all about increasing accessibility to and in the workplace. As global concern and uncertainty in the inclusion space rises, there’s never been a more important time to have these conversations.

Here in the UK, the Government’s mission to get more disabled people into work is the right one – yet their proposed roadmap is confusing and concerning.  What is increasingly clear, however, is that employers play a crucial role. This means that businesses have not just an immediate opportunity, but a pressing responsibility, to meaningfully remove barriers to work for disabled employees – present and future. With the potential promise of more Government support for businesses to make adjustments and invest in assistive tech – the time to make your workplace as accessible as possible is now!

Embracing workplace accessibility won’t be a one-off project; it will take ongoing commitment that needs leadership from champions like you. And that’s where this newsletter comes in. Beyond Compliance exists to give you the tools you need to spark conversations and change, and to connect you with likeminded spirits across industries.

Finally, we’re always keen to connect with others who share our passion for accessibility. If you like what you’re reading, please spread the word to your communities. If you’d like to get in touch, reach out to us on LinkedIn or drop us an email at hello@sociability.app.

In the meantime, enjoy the inaugural edition of Beyond Compliance - and thank you for being part of this important conversation.

Cheers,

Matt
