How to Tag Guide

Introduction

What is Tagging?

A 'tag' is a bite-size piece of information that explains an accessibility feature of a venue. Tagging is the way we add accessibility information about venues to Sociability. By tagging venues, you're helping other users in the Sociability community find places that are accessible to them!

The tagging process involves two key steps:

  1. Uploading Images: The tagging process starts with uploading images of the different areas within the venue – such as entrances, seating areas and restrooms. Images are really important as they let other users see the location for themselves before arriving.

  2. Answering Questions: Once you've uploaded your images, you'll be asked a series of questions about the specific area of the venue that you're tagging. These single and multiple-choice questions are designed to capture all the important accessibility information that our users need to know about the venue. If we ask about an accessibility feature that doesn't exist in that venue, simply skip the question and move on to the next one.

And that's it – you're tagging! Repeat this process for each of the areas within the venue and voila! – You're not only enhancing Sociability for other users, you're helping to build a more inclusive and accessible world for all!
