Hey Sociability Community! 👋

We’re super excited to announce a game-changing update to our favourites feature that many of you have been asking for – My Saved Places! 🏠🏢🏖️📌

What’s New?

  1. Personalised Experience: Gone are the days when you had to scroll endlessly through your favourites to find that amazing accessible venue you discovered last week. Now, with My Saved Places, your favourite venues can be organised into lists for easy access! This improvement not only allows you to curate your favourite venues into categories, it is also allows you to more efficiently plan for days out or trips away.

  2. Easy Organisation: Sort your saved places into lists like 'Weekend Chill', 'Coffee Shops', or 'Manchester Weekend Away' for quick access.

  3. Customisation: You can update the cover photo or change the list name at any time within your list settings.

Two screenshots, one showing the view of a saved list called Paris 2024 with an arrow pointing to the settings icon in the top right corner with a line leading to the second screenshot showing the settings menu

  4. Share with Friends: Easily share your saved places with friends and family.

🔎 How to Use My Saved Places?

  1. Save a Place: On the venue details screen, tap the new 'Save' icon.

  2. Organise: Create a unique list to categorise your saved places. Or add a venue to a list you've created already.

Four screenshots with the first showing the venue details for a cafe in Paris with an arrow pointing to the Save icon with a line leading to the "Create or add to list" screen. The next screen shows how to create a new list and the final screen shows the success message to say that the venue has been added to a list.

  3. Access your Saved Places: From the map view click on 'Saved'.

  4. Share: Use the share button to send your list to others.

  5. Where are my old favourites? - All venues that had been added to your favourites before this update will be located in a list called "My Favourites". You can keep them there or move them to a new list!

💡 Why Is This Awesome?

  1. Efficiency: No more wasting time looking for that perfect spot you've visited before and lists make for easy planning for days out and trips away.

  2. Personalisation: Create your own personalised hub of accessible places that fit your unique needs.

  3. Community Building: Sharing is caring. Help your friends and family find accessible places easily and don’t forget to share your lists with the Sociability community on socials!
