How do I add accessibility information to a venue?

After creating your Sociability user account, search for a specific venue or pick one from the map.

Open the venue's profile page and then click on “Add details”. This will start the tagging process!

You can read more in our How to Tag guide. In short, however, there are three key parts to the process:

  1. Upload images – Photos are the most helpful tool for users looking to learn about a venue before they go. You'll need to add photos for every area that you want to tag. Be sure to add a brief description of each image you upload to help our blind users too.

  2. Answer questions to add tags – After you've uploaded your images, you'll be asked a series of questions about the accessibility of the area you're tagging. Each answer is a tag – a bitesize piece of information that describes an important accessibility feature in the venue.

  3. Leave a review – Reviews are more subjective descriptions of how well the venue accommodates access needs, and the attitudes and friendliness of the staff. You’re the expert here – just tell us what your experience was like!

And that’s it! The more information you add – the better Sociability will be. What’s more, you’ll also earn special badges and points for being a Sociability Superstar!
