Sociability Mapping Day
Code of Conduct
Purpose
Mapping days provide a space for Sociability users to attend in order to meet the community in their local area. The three main purposes are:
Meet like-minded people
Find local venues to suit you
Learn about and tag accessibility information to the Sociability app
Share hints, tips and your own experiences within the disabled community with other attendees!

Expectations
We expect people to meet and get to know each other on mapping days
We ask everyone to download and update the Sociability app (if possible) before you arrive
Everyone is welcome on our Mapping Days, disabled and non-disabled people, companions, and allies
We acknowledge although disability may be a common identity and/or interest - not everyone will have similar experiences and beliefs. Please be mindful of this within your conversations
We ask everyone to respect each others' identities, preferences, and boundaries and listen to these if communicated
We ask everyone to feel confident to communicate their boundaries, in order for everyone to feel comfortable and relaxed throughout
Ultimately - It is essential for everyone to feel safe, comfortable, and welcomed on mapping days (and of course, have fun!).
